On Saturday 25th February, the Jersey Academy of Music saw two events in one day! Well done to all our singers who participated in the informal performance opportunity in the chapel. We strongly suspect that some of them were enticed by the promise of popcorn…

Students of a wide variety of ages and levels participated, and for one young person it was their first ever time performing a solo.  We are keen to offer more of these low-pressure opportunities for our young people to perform, as it helps them to feel more and more comfortable standing up in front of other people.  The young people were also great audience members, supporting and encouraging each other and listening attentively – and even joining in with the Policeman Song!
