The ABBA singalong, with Chant’tie, Jersey Academy of Music Youth Choir, was an event with world class musicians and providing the chance for our young singers to meet super-talented musicians of their own age too.
This was an amazing opportunity for all young singers in Jersey aspiring to go further with their career. Filled with musicians steeped in the classical choral tradition but who can turn their hand to jazz and here, ABBA!

Our talented JASTO juniors were kept busy throughout the term in their rehearsals together. Their practice and efforts culminating into a fantastic performance in their Christmas Concert.

The Jersey Academy of Music was delighted to host this visiting group all the way from South Africa!
As well as some school visits, they will be held two concerts, one at Howard Davis park and another here at Chateau Vermont, were our students had the fantastic opportunity to play with them.
They were an absolutely amazing and high standard group of young musicians!

A wonderful morning at Janvrin School as part of our collaboration with Music in Action.
Many of the students begun learning their instruments only at the start of this term.
They all had a chance to showcase their hard work in front of each other and to listen to what their friends have been learning.
We are so thankful to have such dedicated teachers who have help the students to shine.
Sincere thanks also to Iain and Rebecca at Janvrin School for their support this term and to the team at Music in Action.

Congratulations to everyone for another successful year at the Jersey Eisteddfod. Well done to everyone for a great performance.

After spending time around the island and in Durrell zoo, Camille has finally returned to his natural habitat at the Jersey Academy of Music.
