At the beginning of June, we were thrilled to welcome a wind quintet made up of postgraduate students at the Royal Northern College of Music.  They visited various schools around the Island, demonstrating their instruments and offering the pupils a chance to hear some top notch Classical performance and encounter some of the less well-known instruments.  In addition to this, our guests were kind enough to put together a collaborative performance with some of JAM’s senior wind and brass students, performing repertoire by Beethoven, Ibert and Arnold and finishing with a rousing performance of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
