The Great Charity Playathon 2022 – in aid of Autism Jersey

From Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd October, JAM hosted our second ever “Great Charity Playathon”. This year’s event was in aid of Autism Jersey, a local charity organisation dear to our hearts and with whom several of our students, staff and friends have connections.

The event kicked off in the second part of our first rehearsal for the next JASTO concert, with the newly formed JASTO Junior following on with an impromptu performance of Offenbach’s Can-Can to their parents, siblings and friends.

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who donated or came along to support the event, in particular Mourant who sponsored the playathon and all of our students and musical colleagues who participated during both day and night.  It was fantastic to have a whole variety of local performers on-side to support our efforts – and I’m sure everyone enjoyed the wide spectrum of music on offer!
