We are currently a group in transition with some of our senior members having recently moved on to tertiary education, and new recruits learning the ropes. Some of our members belong to the National Childrens Wind Orchestra of Great Britain and two have won the Woodwind Heat of the Jersey Young Musician of the Year with one student being crowned Jersey Young Musician of the Year 2016. The group have had great success in the Jersey Eisteddfod winning the Instrumental Ensemble award several times. In addition to performing on their own flutes, the students enjoy playing “Bertha” our bass flute and “Audrey” our alto flute!
