Part of our regular link with the outstanding Wells Cathedral School, on this occasion a young brass quintet will be resident at JAM along with two teachers. They will be delivering schools performances during the daytime, and in the afternoons and evenings they will be working alongside JAM brass students to create a joint brass ensemble, coordinated by Pippa Lumbard. This will lead towards an exciting public performance at the Jersey Arts Centre concert on Saturday 9th March, 7pm.

The opportunity for all students taking ABRSM and Trinity exams this term to try out their programme in front of a friendly audience. Free entry with a retiring collection.
Fri 22nd March 2019, 7pm
The Jersey Academy of Music will be hosting a Jazz @ the Chateau evening on Friday 22nd March 2019 from 7 – 9 pm. Performers will include an Academy Big band, Jazz Quartet, Saxophone ensemble, piano, strings, brass and percussion. This will be a charity event to raise money for the “Little Miracles” who support new born babies and their Mother’s in the Special Care Baby Unit.

The evening will encapsulate a fun and relaxed Jazz Club vibe with drinks and nibbles around various tables (so not a concert!). There will also be room for a little dancing should the rhythm catch your soul!
