Our talented JASTO juniors were kept busy throughout the term in their rehearsals together. Their practice and efforts culminating into a fantastic performance in their Christmas Concert.
The very talented Caroline Hobbs-Smith, our Conductor for this year’s JASTO concert, held an insightful Conductors Workshop. Students were provided the opportunity to learn from an experienced conductor and pick up the necessary skills to conduct and lead an orchestra.
The Jersey Academy of Music was delighted to host this visiting group all the way from South Africa!
As well as some school visits, they will be held two concerts, one at Howard Davis park and another here at Chateau Vermont, were our students had the fantastic opportunity to play with them.
They were an absolutely amazing and high standard group of young musicians!
