19th-24th July 2021

We are all thrilled with the programme on offer for this year’s summer course ‘Jersey Summer Music’.  Open islandwide to young instrumentalists from 8yrs of age upwards.

Highlights this year include the visiting ‘School of Noise’ guest ensemble (‘Electro-Pop’ workshops featuring ‘Laser Harp’…don’t ask!!!), an evening performance at Durrell at Dusk, and a spectacular concert at L’Etacquerel Fort!

We will once again be welcoming over a Visiting Faculty to join our brilliant local team, including Damon Flanagan (Professor of Violin at Trinity Laban Conservatoire), Ed Leaker (Head of Woodwind at Well’s Cathedral School), and Steve Thompson (St Dunstan’s College/London Concert Orchestra/Glen Miller Orchestra).

Our thanks go once again to the One Foundation for their continued support to allow all these visiting elements to happen, which always adds a whole new level to the course each year.  A range of other activities run alongside the musical programme, so we hope this presents another nicely balanced week of music and ‘letting off some steam’ fun!

We look forward to welcome all instrumentalists from 8yrs of age upwards, and hope to get fully subscribed again so please don’t delay in getting your forms in if you would like to participate.
