Visiting cello teacher Richard Boardman specialises in Suzuki and Dalchroze, and will lead a weekend of tuition for all the young cellists at the academy.

The opportunity for all students taking ABRSM and Trinity exams to perform their programme to a friendly audience to help prepare for their exams.
Saturday 11th March 2017
A day dedicated to piano, piano, piano! All the young pianists and piano teachers will join forces for a day of concerts, for solo, duets, and ‘multi-piano’, lots of fun to be had!
12th March 2017
Led by Pippa Lumbard, this regular day provides young brass students a fun and focussed opportunity to develop their playing, with involvement from local brass ensembles.
21st/22nd/23rd March 2017
Three open platforms for all students at the academy to perform pieces they have been working on in the term.
29th March 2017
All the young Suzuki violinists will come together to perform to family and friends.
Project & Events
Alongside the weekly instrumental tuition, the academy runs a regular programme of inspirational Projects and Events, some directed specifically at students having tuition at the academy, others are open island-wide. We frequently work in partnership with other local organisations, and are proud to have developed some very exciting links with music schools in the UK and further abroad.
